We Bring the Office to You

Laptop & Portable Printer at Any Hospital

If you need a power of attorney, healthcare directive, or other form but do not have it ready, you can use our equipment and Rocket Lawyer access to create the document during our appointment.

What We Bring

  • Laptop with internet connection — no Wi-Fi at your location needed
  • Portable printer for on-the-spot document printing
  • Scanner for digital copies of your signed and notarized documents
  • Rocket Lawyer account included for on-site document creation
  • Support for any legal document platform of your choosing

How It Works at the Hospital

  1. Tell us what document you need when you book, or decide when we arrive.
  2. Pull up a template on Rocket Lawyer or your preferred source on our laptop.
  3. Review, customize, and finalize your document on screen.
  4. We print it, you sign it, and we notarize it — all at the bedside.
Important: I am a commissioned notary public, not an attorney. I do not provide legal advice, recommend specific documents, or explain your legal rights. Any help I provide with Rocket Lawyer or similar services is strictly administrative — using my laptop, printer, internet connection, and platform access to help you generate, print, and organize the forms you choose so they are ready to sign and notarize. For legal questions or to decide which documents are appropriate for your situation, please consult a licensed attorney.

Common Questions

Hospital Notary FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most about hospital and medical facility notary visits.

How much does a hospital notary visit cost?

Tier 1 hospitals (San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita) start at $195 for a standard visit. Tier 2 hospitals (Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Hollywood, and greater LA) start at $225. Add $50 for laptop and printer access to generate a document on-site.

Can you create documents at the hospital?

Yes. We bring a laptop, portable printer, and internet connection to every hospital appointment. You can use our Rocket Lawyer access to generate powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other forms on-site, then sign and notarize them in the same visit.

How quickly can you get to the hospital?

For urgent situations, call or text (213) 933‑2507 directly. Tier 1 hospitals are typically 10–40 minutes from our base. Tier 2 hospitals are typically 35–60+ minutes. We prioritize hospital signings and can often accommodate same-day requests.

Do you serve nursing homes and rehab centers?

Yes. We serve hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and other medical facilities throughout Los Angeles and Ventura County. If your facility is not listed, call us and we will confirm coverage and pricing.

What ID does the patient need?

California law requires a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, state ID, U.S. passport, or foreign passport. If the patient does not have ID available at the hospital, contact us and we can discuss options.

What if the patient is too ill to sign?

The patient must be alert, aware of what they are signing, and able to communicate. If a patient is sedated, unconscious, or unable to understand the document, we cannot legally proceed with notarization. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
