Los Robles Regional Medical Center is the only Level II Trauma Center in eastern Ventura County, located in Thousand Oaks. Families throughout the Conejo Valley call us when a patient cannot travel to a notary office. We travel via the 101 freeway with our seal, laptop, and portable printer, and can coordinate with outside attorneys to print and organize documents before signing.

What to expect from a bedside notary visit.
We confirm & travel
Located at 215 West Janss Road in Thousand Oaks (Ventura County), Los Robles has free parking on campus. Visiting hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with extended hours for L&D, hospice, pediatric/NICU, and special needs patients. Travel time from Granada Hills via the 101 freeway is typically 40–60 minutes in normal traffic; rush hour through Calabasas and Agoura Hills can take longer.
Bedside signing & seal
We check in with the nursing staff, bring all equipment to the patient room, verify identity, and notarize the documents. Most visits take 20–45 minutes depending on the number of documents.

Before your appointment
What to have ready for a bedside notary visit.
Valid photo ID
Every signer needs a current government-issued photo ID — California driver's license, state ID, U.S. passport, or equivalent. If the patient's ID is at home, have a family member bring it before the appointment.
All document pages
Bring complete documents — not just the signature page. If you need documents generated on-site, we bring a laptop, portable printer, and internet connection to produce forms during our visit.
Any required witnesses
Healthcare directives typically require two witnesses who are not named in the document and are not employees of the treating facility. Confirm witness requirements for your specific document before we arrive.

Can you visit patients in the Los Robles trauma center?
Yes. Los Robles has the only Level II Trauma Center in eastern Ventura County. We can visit trauma patients as long as the hospital permits visitors and the patient is conscious, alert, and able to understand and sign documents.
Is Los Robles in Los Angeles County or Ventura County?
Los Robles Regional Medical Center is in Thousand Oaks, which is in Ventura County. Our California notary commission covers the entire state, so county lines do not affect whether we can notarize your documents.
What if I need multiple family members to sign different documents?
We can notarize documents for multiple signers during a single hospital visit. Each person who signs will need their own valid government-issued photo ID and must personally appear before the notary.
Can you coordinate with my attorney who is sending documents from their office?
Yes. If your attorney is emailing or faxing documents and you do not have a way to print them, our laptop and portable printer service solves that problem. Your attorney can email documents directly to us for printing before the visit.

Yes. While Los Robles is in Thousand Oaks, we serve patients and families throughout the Conejo Valley, including Westlake Village, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills, and Oak Park at Tier 2 rates.
