Where we sign
Los Angeles County facilities and settings we visit
Most appointments fall into one of five categories. Each has its own scheduling pattern, ID rules,
and timing considerations. If your situation is unusual, call and we'll walk through it.
Homes & private offices
Single-family homes, condos, high-rises, and small offices throughout Los Angeles County.
Typical appointments include real-estate signings, estate-planning documents, powers of attorney,
and travel consents.
Examples: Beverly Hills high-rises, Westwood condos, SFV homes, Pasadena law offices.
Hospitals & medical facilities
Bedside notarizations at LA County hospitals, including patient signings for advance healthcare
directives, healthcare powers of attorney, financial powers of attorney, and estate documents.
We coordinate access with the nurse or social worker before arriving.
Examples: Cedars-Sinai, Ronald Reagan UCLA, Keck/USC, Providence Holy Cross,
LAC+USC, Harbor-UCLA, Olive View-UCLA, MLK Community, Huntington Health,
Kaiser Sunset / Woodland Hills, Northridge Hospital, Valley Presbyterian, Henry Mayo.
See hospital notary services for typical hospital documents and scenarios.
Los Angeles County jails & detention
Inmate signings at Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department facilities, including
Men's Central Jail (MCJ) and Twin Towers Correctional Facility (TTCF)
downtown, Century Regional Detention Facility (Lynwood), and the
Pitchess Detention Center (Castaic) complex (North County, North Facility,
South Facility, East Facility). Inmate notarizations require advance coordination and signer
awareness.
See jail notary services for booking, ID rules, and what to expect.
Courthouses & county offices
Appointments near major LA County courthouses including the
Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center,
Pasadena, Burbank, Van Nuys, Chatsworth, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Compton, Long Beach,
and Norwalk courthouses, plus the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office in Norwalk for
county-issued vital records.
Skilled nursing & care facilities
Skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living, hospice, and rehabilitation centers throughout
Los Angeles County. Advance directives signed in a skilled nursing facility have a specific
California rule (Probate Code §4675) that requires a patient advocate or ombudsman as one of
the witnesses — we coordinate around that requirement.
More: advance directive at a skilled nursing facility.
Hotels, studios & airports
Visiting executives, production crews, and travelers often need notarizations on a tight schedule.
We travel to hotels in DTLA, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, the LAX area, and
studio lots in Burbank, Hollywood, and Culver City.
